People were warned in dreams and the future was also revealed symbolically through dreams.  The source of these dreams was God.  Scripture confirms this.  Even Joel 2:28 says that Afterwards, I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh.  Your sons and your daughters will prophecy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.

I know, personally, the dreams God gives me are very symbolic and contain relevant meaning for my life and understanding.  I appreciate dreams now more than ever.  I am thankful to the God who communicates with me on such a personal level.

Isaiah 62

4It will no longer be said to you, “Forsaken,”
Nor to your land will it any longer be said, “Desolate”;
But you will be called, “My delight is in her,”
And your land, “Married”;
For the LORD delights in you,
And to Him your land will be married.

Lately I’ve been singing the psalms and scriptures.  I just sing it and repeat it over and over.  It feels like it is nourishing my soul.  In those times it doesn’t get old.  I just sing and repeat and praise God.

It is good to praise the Lord.

He’s alive, he’s alive, he is risen.

“Death where is your string?  Grave where is your victory?”  Praise our savior for what he has done by his death and resurrection.  He’s alive and Glory to the Lamb that was slain.

“King of Kings and Lord of Lords,

Lover of my soul, Jehovah

One and only God,  I Am

Jesus Christ, the holy lamb!”

God is faithful, he doesn’t change.  He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  He is faithful to his people.  He hears their cry and delivers them.  He doesn’t change like a shifting shadow.  He even causes the seasons to march on.  How many centuries, epochs, and eras has that been going on?  The sun has been rising since the beginning really.  How faithful is God?  It won’t be hard forever.  The winter season in your life will not last forever.  Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.  We can praise the Lord, that joy will come as we wait and trust in him.  The hard times are creating for us everlasting rewards.  It is hard but more importantly it is worth it.

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Romans 8:18

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

A Time for Everything
